Shan, DVM

Shan, practice owner, is a Pratt native who received his veterinary degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in Ohio for several years, he returned to his hometown and established South Fork Veterinary Hospital. Shan enjoys the variety of mixed animal practice, and considers his own cow herd both his "pets" and his hobby. He and his wife, Shelley, have three grown children.


Shelley, Office Manager

Shelley has been with the practice since its opening in 1990. She received her business degree from Kansas State University College of Business Administration. Currently, her list of pets includes seven cats and one dog. In addition to her work at the office, Shelley enjoys helping with the family farming and cattle operation. Shelley and husband, Shan, have three grown children. 


Annie, DVM

Dr. Annie is a native of Claflin, Kansas and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 2011 and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She has spent the last year a half working in Fort Worth, TX at a small animal exclusive practice. She is very excited to be back close to home and happy to help provide Pratt and the surrounding communities with the utmost in compassionate veterinary care.

Gina, Receptionist

Gina has been the voice of South Fork since the spring of 2004. She is an invaluable asset to ensuring that the office operates smoothly. She and her husband, Todd, are lifelong residents of St. John. She enjoys spending time with her three grown children, two dogs, four cats, and two grandkids. 


Tiffany, Registered Vet Tech

Tiffany has been with the practice since July 2004. She was born and raised in Cunningham, and completed her veterinary technology degree at Tulsa Community College. In addition to technician work, she manages our cow/calf computerized her record system. Tiffany and her husband, Paul, are the proud parents of two beautiful children, William and Olivia. Her family is complete with one cat and a dog.

Kayla, DVM 

Dr. Kayla joined the practice in 2021. She is a native of St. John, KS and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University. After practicing in the Kansas City area for 11 years, she moved back to her hometown and practiced in Great Bend for 9 years. Kayla and husband, Brent, have two children, Weston and Lainey, who keep them very busy with sports, school, and 4-H activities. They have a dog and 3 farm cats.


Milan, Veterinary Assistant

Milan has been with the practice since the start of 2020. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science from K-State in December of 2018 and will graduate with her MBA in marketing from Emporia State in May of 2022. Outside of her work, she enjoys running cattle with her husband, riding horses, and spending time with her corgi named goat.

Loo Loo, Office Queen

Loo Loo adopted South Fork as her family in 2010, and has since claimed the office as her own. She spends her days lounging on the front counter, awaiting deliveries from the UPS drivers, and welcoming those arriving at the door.
